Therefore, Into the Storm offers chronological continuation of that story, focusing now on the story of Churchill's years in office in the UK, during the course of World War II.

Regarding the assessment of the film, we must start by saying that this remains the hallmark of HBO productions about the quality of the atmosphere, the historical recreation and staging, they are excellent. In terms of interpretation, performances are also quite good, with Irish actor Brendan Gleeson replacing Albert Finney in the role of Churchill, a role that earned him to win the Emmy for best actor, though, comparing both performances, I personally more convinced of Finney. The film also plays some of the most famous and emotional speeches Churchill's urging to continue the fight, as the famous " fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight on beaches, in the hills ...." Nanking, China, November 1937.
